“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”
Ephesians 1:3
Ephesians 1:3
Scripture invites us to lift our eyes from the temporary and fix them on the eternal. Paul reminds us that in Christ, we have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing—not a few, not some, but every blessing Heaven offers. These blessings aren’t tied to our circumstances, emotions, or achievements. They are anchored in Jesus, secured by His finished work, and poured out through His grace.
Often, we look at what we lack—answers, clarity, provision, or change. But Scripture draws our attention to what we already have: adoption into God’s family, redemption, forgiveness, the Holy Spirit, peace, purpose, and an eternal inheritance. These blessings shape our identity and empower our daily walk, through the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Praise becomes our response—not because life is perfect, but because Christ has given us more than we could ever ask or imagine. When we understand the richness of what is already ours, gratitude grows, faith deepens, and hope strengthens.
Today, pause and praise God. You are abundantly blessed in Christ. Live with confidence, knowing Heaven’s resources are already yours.

1. Father, open my eyes to the spiritual blessings You’ve already given me in Christ. Pray for awareness and gratitude for the riches God has already poured into your life—identity, peace, purpose, and His Spirit.
2. Lord, help me live from blessing, not for blessing. Ask God to help you walk with confidence, knowing you are already fully blessed in Christ, not striving for worth or approval.
3. Holy Spirit, teach me to praise You in every season. Pray for a heart that worships God not only for what He does, but for who He is and what He has already provided. No matter the circumstance you might be walking through.
4. Lord, as the people of Friends Church, open our eyes to the spiritual blessings we have in Christ, and unite us in praise for all You have given. Pray that Friends Church would collectively recognize the richness of God’s blessings, worship with gratitude, and live from a place of spiritual abundance as a reflection of Christ in all that we do.
