“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”

Ephesians 1:7
Redemption is not just a theological word—it is the story of God reaching into our brokenness and bringing us back to Himself. Through the blood of Jesus, we are brought out of bondage, rescued from the grip of sin, and restored into a relationship with God. This redemption is not fragile or incomplete; it is full, final, and freely given.

Paul reminds us that forgiveness is not offered sparingly. It flows from the riches of God’s grace—grace that is abundant, overflowing, and without limit. We never come to God and find His grace running low. We never confess a sin too heavy for His forgiveness. In Christ, our past is covered, our failures are washed clean, and our identity is made new.

This verse invites us to live with confidence, not condemnation. To walk as people who are fully forgiven, deeply loved, and completely redeemed. When the enemy whispers accusations, we can rest in the truth that the blood of Jesus speaks louder.

Today, pause and thank God for the richness of His grace. You are redeemed. You are forgiven. You belong to Him.
1. Lord, thank You for redeeming me through the blood of Jesus Christ. Pray with gratitude for the rescue, restoration, and new identity you’ve received because of Christ’s sacrifice.

2. Father, help me live in the freedom of Your forgiveness. Ask God to remove lingering guilt, self-condemnation, or shame so you can walk confidently in the grace He’s given.

3. Holy Spirit, show me how to reflect God’s grace to others. Invite the Spirit to help you extend the same forgiveness, patience, and mercy you have received, to those around you.

4. Lord, as a church, help us live as a redeemed and forgiven people, rooted in the riches of Your grace. Pray that Friends Church would collectively embrace the freedom Jesus purchased, walk in unity shaped by forgiveness, and reflect God’s abundant grace around the corner and around the world.
