“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12
Jesus is the only source of salvation. In a world filled with competing philosophies, self-help plans, and alternative paths, God’s Word reminds us that there is no substitute for Christ. Salvation is not earned through effort, moral deeds, or human wisdom—it is received through the of Jesus.

The name of Jesus carries authority, power, and life. It is the bridge between broken humanity and a holy God, the key that unlocks forgiveness, and the door that leads to eternal life. When we place our trust in Jesus, we are fully saved—not partially, not conditionally, but completely.

This truth calls us to boldness and gratitude. Boldness, because we can confidently proclaim the good news of Jesus to a world in need. Gratitude, because knowing that salvation is found in Him alone should fill our hearts with awe, worship, and joy.

Today, reflect on the unmatched power of Jesus’ name. Trust Him fully, follow Him faithfully, and share the gift of salvation with those around you.
1. Jesus, help me to trust fully in Your name for salvation. Pray for personal faith and confidence that salvation and eternal life are found in Christ and Christ alone.

2. Father, give me boldness to proclaim the name of Jesus. Ask God to empower you to share the good news of salvation with others, with courage and clarity.

3. Holy Spirit, remind me daily of the power in Jesus’ name. Pray for awareness of His authority, presence, and life-giving power in your everyday decisions and challenges.

4. Lord, as a church, help us proclaim and live under the power of Jesus’ name. Pray that Friends Church would collectively embrace the truth that salvation is found in Christ alone, boldly share the gospel those within our community and neighborhoods. And that together we would live faithfully in the authority, power, and grace of the name that is above all names, Jesus Christ. Amen.
